I think of PitP as a raw gemstone A ruby or an amethyst pulled from a mine, ripe with potential - and since this is a debut novel, I’m here clapping. Good plot, good ideas and twists, nice and not so nice characters, an oppressive setting: bravo

The Newlyweds – Arianne Richmonde

The Newlyweds puzzles me. Like, a lot. I picked it on Netgalley, intrigued by the synopsis: a good old psychological drama, two newlyweds (hence the title) hiding things from each other, pretty straightforward yet interesting enough to make me anticipate some plot twists. It delivered, in a way, but - puzzled, as I said. Stay with me for a moment here.

Point Roberts – Alexander Rigby

It took me a while to read this book, and it might take me just as long to figure out what to say about it in the right way. Truth is, there is no right way, because I had a hard time with this novel. This is my review of Point Roberts by Alexander Rigby.
